Penn State Countdown: 85

Winless in Columbus.

Penn State has gone 0-7 since joining the Big Ten in 1993. Down by 3 late in the second half and Daryll Clark knocked out of the game, it looked as if Penn State would extend its Columbus woes to 0-8.

That was until Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor made a freshman mistake.

Instead of lowering your shoulder and going straight up the middle, Pryor saw the middle bunching up and tried to bounce it outside. That’s where Mark Rubin made him pay forcing the fumble that changed the game.

    Not only did it change the game, but it pretty much changed the season. If not for the Iowa debacle, Penn State was going to play for the national championship because of this!
