Final Blogpoll Ballot!
This may be the most boring ballot I’ve ever submitted. In short–a reevaluation of the college football landscape was a) pretty impossible with only a handful of championship games and b) didn’t yield any surprising results. I liked where my rankings were at this time last week, and I’ve kept them almost entirely unchanged.

Now that’s pretty ugly, but take a look at the composite rankings from before the season started. I had Auburn and Oregon at #16 and #18–the consensus had Oregon at #11, but Auburn all the way down at #23. I wasn’t the only one fooled by Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida–they all received #1 votes! For as much as this season failed to engender much late-season excitement, with highly ranked teams staying at the top of the rankings for the last few months, it produced an outcome that few saw coming.
